Status update: I ended up torquing the keel bolts. They were not incredibly loose but all of them needed tightening, two by a turn or more and the other two by less than a turn. I will know if this removed the keel movement when the boat is next hauled out, although I am also thinking of diving on

David, I presume you have the same set up as Josh. If you turn the knobs/screws on your switch panel you should find the breakers behind, unlabeled. My 1990 30-2 is wired just as Josh suggested and is quite a bit more 'modern' than the way the pre-Rob Ball era boats are set up, from what I can tell

Now that you mention it, Westerbeke sells the complete wired panel. It must have a master connection. I’ll have a look. Thanks. From: CnC-List On Behalf Of Doug Mountjoy via CnC-List Sent: Thursday, April 23, 2020 5:00 PM To: cnc-list@cnc-list.com Cc: Doug Mountjoy Subject: Re: Stus-List

Matt, Not sure about the Westerbeke, but my yanmar had a quick connect plug to allow removal of the panel. Or install a longerCable between the engine and panel. A friends volvo also has a plug to disconnect engine and panel. Doug Mountjoysv Rebecca Leah C&C Landfall 39Port Orchard yacht club --

I have a different ‘pod - a ScanPod (https://scanstrut.com/products-22/scanpod/spr-8-am-detail). I thought that the swing arm would work for me, but, as Chuck mentioned, they don’t rotate. I got rid of the arm and installed a RAM mount articulated arm. The problem is that the wires run external

I don’t think that one is designed to swivel easily. The similar pods I have use a thread and nut that clamps down to keep it from moving. Maybe this one is different. I have the older version of the Scanstrut Deckpod which I really like. The new one looks even nicer. It is mounted on a pla

I have one on my boat but located the arm so the pod centers inside the guard, not off to the side. One misconception is that the pod will rotate on the arm. Not so. It is designed to be fixed and will loosen up if left to rotate on the arm. An inexpensive articulating instrument arm that al

Slight change of topic: I am about to replace my fuel gauge, which should be a very simple matter. It is being made more complicated due to an access problem. It would be easy if C&C had left a little extra wire behind the all the other instruments (tach, water temp, oil pressure, etc.), all o

If it's working fine, then probably not, but my observations so far are: original wire is TEW rated, but not tinned, so it holds up ok in wet environments but is likely showing corrosion at the terminals, and is also stiffer (fewer strands) than current boat wire. Some of the wires disappear betwee
