Interesting choice and glad to hear I’m not the only one. I had a 25 Mk I then
a 33 MkII C/B and after a number of weeks spent each summer in the North
Channel of Lake Huron and a few passages in less than ideal conditions I
started looking for a 37+ which I thought would be the ideal boat but
I had a Bruce on my 33 MkII and once I attached a long enough piece of chain
and rode it was great in the North Channel. I would recommend it but when I
bought a new anchor for my current boat I went for a Rocna and it might even be
better.

Since this seems to be 'true confessions' week, I must confess that I sold

reason I could rationalize such a move is that Sagas were built by the same

Not sure which lines you want the clutches to hold secure but have you thought
of mounting the clutches on the mast as opposed to on deck? They can be

I agree, clean the terminals first, it’s worked for me on cars a couple times.
A lot easier than replacing starter motors if it works.

Usually corrosion is the culprit. Clean the terminals on the starter wires.

That looks excellent!! Did you get the pieces made somewhere to have all

As far as I know a 34/36 XL will have triple spreaders and running back and

I will add another vote for CCI in Ottawa. They rebuilt the rudder on my 33-2
