All marinas in Miami have been shut down for more that a week now. I'm
allowed to check on my boat but cannot do any work. Yet, the marina finally
began a couple months ago to repair the three piers that have been closed
since Hurricane Irma more that two-and one-half-years ago. Those workers

I agree it is serious and one should take all appropriate precautions, but I certainly plan to go sailing. As long as the marina is still launching boats when the time comes, once I am at my mooring, I can get to and from my boat without ever seeing another person. Can’t think of a safer place

Chatfield Marina opened for the season today. Seven boats in slips already. I
worked on Grenadine in the yard; launching Sunday. Several other owners were
out there working on their boats too, and we talked from a distance. No

Sailing and or boat maintenance in a marina are one of the few activities

Yesterday on the way to Touche' I had the pleasure of going through the
Florida COVID checkpoint on I-10. Fun to the max I can tell you.
On approach, signs and orange pylons directed traffic into the right lane
then off the Interstate into the weigh station. Semis were culled first
