At the behest of the Admiral, I installed a shower wand holder in the
overhead of the head. She can now stand under it and shower without having
to hold it. Simple but great upgrade. Got it an an RV store for 7 or 8
bucks. Shower wand has integral on/off valve. Made for HUGE deposit in

single temp faucet last year to replace the foot pump that was there.

I've never seen the LF38 layout with separate shower, though I remember
seeing pictures on yachtworld. IIRC, it looked pretty small -- taking
about as much space as the drawers and hanging lockers do on my boat.
Frankly, this boat isn't a dock condo, and space is pretty precious.

both.
In the Caribbean we mostly use the freshwater rinse at the stern, soap up,
and then rinse off again. It uses a lot less water than the shower below
decks, makes less mess, and is way faster.
