fall of 2019. In July of 2021, I replaced the crazed and leaking port-lights
that were held with plexus and bolts. They no longer leak and are held in
place only with ¾ inch 3M VHB tape and Dowsil 795 (no bolts). Some
My 32 has two windows on each side, and one, the long one has a
significant curvature which puzzled me as to how I would keep it in

There was also an excellent thread on Sailing Anarchy about that, written

I got a quote from "Fix Leaky Boats” on replacing windows and frames (fixed /
non-opening) on my 1980 34' two years ago and it was about $2,000 Canadian. I
didn’t proceed but that might give you an idea of pricing. I’ve heard great
things about their products.

Hey Joel,
"Fixleakyboats.com" looks interesting. Any idea what they cost?
Their website doesn't seem to be working. It wouldn't allow me to fill out
their form.

Hey Rod,
Looks like you found what you needed.
I wrote one of the articles on Stu's website, "Replacing Frameless Windows" and
would be happy to answer questions.
You can learn much from the video by Boatworks Today.

I think Stu has that in the archives on the C website. How one goes about

again and I'll dig it up. I did the windows on my 42 Custom using the
described method, and it worked great.
