Horned Grebe is in my personal records for Costilla County and Rio Grande
County.
Just got my FOS band-tailed pigeon at my feeder!
Loads of juncos of all races except white-winged. None of those since last
week's appearance.

Met Michael Kiessig at the Red Rocks Trading post feeders this
morning. He reported seeing both the Golden-crowned Sparrow and White-
throated Sparrow early this morning. Yesterday in early a.m. I saw
both the Harris's Sparrow and Curve-billed Thrasher at the feeders.
The pair of
Draining and dredging of Marston Lake's west side has improved gull viewing
opportunities.
Visible from the elevated levee near the intersection of (Old) S. Wadsworth
Blvd, S. Upham Ct. and S. Webster Ct. is a new loafing area used by gulls
throughout the day.
This morning it hosted an imm.
A pair of burrowing owls were seen on 3/29/11 on the Rattlesnake Hill
tour route. An owl was seen there on three days the first week of
December, 2010. No one on this listserv has reported any in the state
in 2011. So, the question: Did this pair escape detection for the
rest of the winter, are

A few migrants today- female Cooper's Hawk, and two FOS Am Kestrels.
No swifts today, and the local Redtails were mostly perched. Did see the local
Prairie Falcon flying down in one of the valleys.
Not great soaring, I guess.
