I checked out the area today that I have for the CBC on Saturday. Muddy trails but all five lakes on the east side of the Platte to the south of Kingfisher Bridge have open water. Hopefully at least some of them will stay open on Saturday even with 2-3 days of cold weather. Best birds found were

The Sage Sparrow was still at the Swim Beach area this morning, seen at least 6 birders. It was just to the north of the fenced area.  There were also many Western Bluebirds throughout the park this morning.  Also seen were many Song Sparrows and FOS Western Meadowlarks and FOS Cinnamon Teals
