When I install Mandrake 7.1, my video card (G400 max) is detected as a
G400 16MB card as opposed to the 32MB card that it is. There are other
differences on the card such as the RAMDAC (360MHz compared to 300?),
and whatever else, I'm not sure. Anyway, I've changed the 16MB to 32M
XMMS is the best out of all the MP3 players I have tried. I have Netscape set
up to use XMMS to play streamed MP3s off of the internet. I think Netscape
should come already setup for this so that I do not have to create mime types
every time I upgrade or install my system.

I Can't change root password with linuxconf or passwd. When I click on
the button in linuxconf it does nothing. When root and I type passwd it
says "passwd: Module is unknown", this only happens when root. Please

"fixed" missing... and it just goes to a black screen so to dodge this
problem, i told it to use my old config... that worked but it turned on
virtural screen sizes which was a pain to remove
