Hi
After having read Linus opus of Linux 2.4.1-pre11, I have started to

I am running a VIA VT82C694X and VT82C596B chipset on an ASUS P3V4X with

Hi!
I'm using a 400 MHz Celeron. Would I gain any noticable performance (ie.

uses but instead choosing Celeron as the target CPU instead of the default

Linux-Mandrake Cooker-i586 20010129 20:15
Its new, its fresh, its like a sallad with juicy ingrediencies, with oil
and vinegar, and I like it.
Thanks all you programmers and packagers that has polished it all, once
more.
I have a hd.img
Well, actually, I did try that one, mainly because it looked so promising
(the magic number "8139" and all). It didn't work. So then I got
frustrated and went down the entire list and tried each and every module
listed, all to no good effect. :-) Is it picky about the I/O address or
anything
Will everything get installed if I do not edit those files? I do not mind
the errors.
BTW, hdlist.cz was like 7 megs; how do you edit that one?
