Hi all!
Is it possible to upgrade xcdroast from alpha5 to alpha8 in cooker? I saw
that even there's an RPM package on xcdroast's site just for Mandrake! :)

I have the same problem. I'm one of those that posted about it earlier.
So far I haven't received any response regarding a fix for it and I have
been unable to change it's behavior no matter what I do. I've pretty
much given up on it. No one from Mandrake seems to be too interested
in fixing
What do you want to package today ?

I really like linux. And I really love Mandrake and its way to work!
I guess 7.3 will be really special, for I'll see kernel 2.4.x, kde2.1, gnome

Glad to hear you're working on it. I'm sure you'll get it worked
out. I know Cooker is for development so it was no big deal, I just
put an older version back on until you get this one working again.
It just didn't seem like anyone was listening to us.

Hi,
I have installed the latest kernel rpm (2.4.1-4mdk), and it does not install
any initrd-2.4.1-4mdk. The symlink in /boot remains pointing to the old

I d/l the whole distro onto HDD to try install it at home.

But then: I chose "tmp cleaning" option.
