Is anyone having success with the current XWine and wine in cooker?
XWine seems to break wine when used to edit the config files - even if no
changes are made. The next time XWine is invoked it bombs, with a console
message complaining that wine has to be installed.

Found what appears to be the problem. If you use XWine to alter the config
file - or just look at it, but save it at the end, it alters the file. The
most recent re-install i played with, it copied the last line of the file to
the top, above the first line. Since the file no longer starts

Hi All: I have an ibook 600Mhz w/ 256 megs ram. I have the first 2 cds for
Mandrake 9.1 PPC. I started my install using install-text and that crashed
at my keyboard. I then went with install-gui-benh and that worked. The
install went like it should have. The install went all the way
Actually I did try the mesh driver too, with the same results.
The machine is basically the same as a powermac 4400, I don't know if that
is any help.
