I've installed Mandrake 7.2 on a PII 400. I'vea 3com card (3c905B-TX). If i type a ifconfigcommand only obtained information for lo, but notfor eth0. Theorically i am using the 3c90x module(installations process determines i must use the3c59x driver, but the result is the same). Typing

I did a fresh expert install using hd.img. I've also just installed a Promise Ultra UDMA100 card and a 40GB Maxtor UDMA100 disk as /dev/hde. Problems... 1. Halt or reboot shuts down all the processes correctly, then gives the message: "INIT - no more processes in this run level" and just

I installed 7.2 using hd.img. During the beta, I was doing MandrakeUpdate and had problems doing updates so I was pleasantly surprised that some of my problems have gone away after doing a FULL install. As with any beta testing, updating beta software sometimes does not make sense. Anyway,
