I had the same problems some weeks ago; I discovered that the new default
theme has several icons more thant the olds ones; just copy the additional
icons to every theme and it works but the icons are so big, so the result
is not absolutely good.

I upgraded drakconf today, and it segfaulted. I then manually upgraded
all the packages it depends on (using rpm -qR to find out), and it
turned out I needed to upgrade perl-GTK-GdkImlib to make it work. The
dependency does not specify a version, but maybe it should.

Upgraded to drakconf 1.1.8-5mdk and get the following error message. Program
stops without ever opening. This is as an ordinary user.

and not to kill them if they do not start in 15 sec

when trying to start DrakConf it dies with the following error
