pci.agent might be the problem. I disabled network at boot, I disabled pcmcia and network starting or resuming within /etc/sysconfig/apm-scripts/resume.d, I started with the pcmcia lan card not being inserted. I inserted the card and while on console F12 and watched the messages. Since
