A mail server's hard drive crashed and I was able to copy a users emails to
another server, which is also running courier.
I think I've searched the web using the incorrect search strings, but here
is my issue.
How can I migrate user mail from a courier server with one hostname, to a

to an "archive" maildir. These come in marked as new messages, so I'm

It's separated out like this because sometimes only one var is set and
sometimes only the other is (has something to do with courier vs
or an IP is controlled by the DNS server of the people who
own the IP address, not the DNS server of the domain itself. Someone
probably just forgot to inform your ISP that the domain changed, so
they're still reporting the old address.

bofh, just check to see
that an SPF record exists, and if it does, reject the message as spam if
it comes from an unauthorized source. That way, SPF will essentially
"work" for domains that use it, but still be backwards compatible with
those who don't.
