At the moment, the lock file usage in winkeydaemon is useless since
there is never a test if the lock file does exist.
In my opinion, the vulnerability should be solved by using routines from

#256704 had the same reason and was closed wrongly.
I'll send you a short summary about why I think that this bug can't be
solved properly.

After recompilation, the terminal is sometimes not redrawn and only
few lines are shown.

uncompression had to be solved in another way. Upstream of pdftk is
inactive for years, so I had to reprogramme missing parts which
generates easily new bugs... If you found more, please report them.

Hello,
the package libitext-java(-gcj) was updated to version 2.1.7-1, so my

Severity: normal
There is a new upstream version of libitext-java.
Since there are a lot of bugs (not yet reported to the libitext-java
debian package but perhaps soon to pdftk) fixed in 2.1.6 and 2.1.7,
I set the severity to 'normal'.
See http://www.1t3xt
ed a pdf-file via hyperref/pdflatex. pdftk seems to display
the fields correctly.
If you can reproduce your bug, please append additionally the .tex file.

PS: The newer pdftk 1.41+dfsg-2 can dump the content of a pdf:
$ pdftk metadata.pdf output - uncompress | less
On current squeeze or sid, I can not confirm your problem.
Perhaps, the bug was closed in a newer version of libgcj8-1.
Some people using Ubuntu seems to had/have the same problem as you:
See https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pdftk/+bug/173208

Hello,
I've found the reason for the missing UTF-8 filename support:
The filenames are converted in the C++-Code from Latin1 (to java-intern
encoding). The right way is converting from UTF-8.
Because the standard filename encoding is UTF-8 since Debian Etch, the
