OK I needed boot manager so I picked this up. It's a nice little proggy

One problem that you may be having with the 3c509 is the plug and play
capability. If you boot to DOS, run 3c5x9cfg and disable plug and play,
the card should work great.

Summary of problem:

Installation of the current (bo/1.3) man package fails. In
particular, with a fresh install of Debian 1.3, both
dpkg -i man-db_2.3.10-38.deb
and
dpkg -i man-db_2.3.10-39.deb
yield failed configuration due to failure of /usr/sbin/chmanconfig.
Problem
I've noticed that linux supports volumes across physical devices.
However, I haven't figured out which command to use to set this up. I
would like to mount a pair of hard drives on the second controller
jointly as /usr. THis volume will also be served out by nfs. Could
someone give me a hint
I recently upgraded to 1.3 and replaced popclient with fetchmail. When I
try to run fetchmail, my ISP is connected and when attempting to retrieve
mail, I get the error message:

You want mdtools (the package) and md device support in the kernel,
wither compiled in or as a module. Either works well. I have two RAID0
partitions spanned across two 4 GB SCSI drives. Works great.
The md commands actually have useful man pages. If you need more info,
