In fact I want to fetch my different POP boxes
to my laptop and still read my email with a Mozilla
which deals with POP or IMAP stuff:
so I guess taht I have to install a POP stuff on my laptop.
Does it sound reasonnable ?

The only messages I've seen on this problem indicated the solution was
to upgrade apt. Try reinstalling apt from the 2.2r5 distribution set.

Check /var/log/XFree.0.log to see that DPMS is enabled.

I've had similar problems with gnome upgrades before. Usually,
selecting a different window manager and then switching back to
enlightenment in gnome control center fixed the problem.
