I don't use multiple X servers too often but I think that since X 4.x
there are some problems when running multiple X servers on same machine
(voodoo 3 card).
I have dri enabled, it works ok. as long as I run only one instance
of X it works without any problems.

work! I can't find the tdfx driver in there though .. is it vital? will it
help? Where do I find it in make xconfig (what category?..)

Apesar de náo possuir uma paca dessas, creio que não terá problemas em

Acho que você tem que ter a versão 4.0 ou maior do Xfree para utilizar
suporte 3D da voodoo 3. Acho que vai se preciso fazer um upgrade de seu

stupid and i can't figure it out this time. This is what I've
done/have:
-X 4.1.0 (w/ the DRI section configured correctly)

las X (4.0.3). Tengo una Voodoo 3 2000, el módulo tdfx compilado dentro del
kernel -no como módulo- , la pantalla está puesta a 16 bits de color. Creo
que eso era lo necesario para que funcionase las X.

problemas el servidor SVGA. Por lo que tengo entendido, éste servidor
soporta también las demás Voodoo (bueno, hay ciertos problemillas con la

I am trying to get a Voodoo 3 2000 to run under Debian 2.2 - with the
added bonus that this instance would have to run on a 300Mhz AMD K6. Is
there a way to do it or should I just return the card?
