This is weird.
If I run the button sample from the vcl/samples/button folder, the
onclick events fire.
When I copy the files to another folder and compile and run, the onclick

I have an eftpos terminal driver written in delphi 2007.
On XP, it works fine with standard ports and USB-Serial converter.
But on Vista and Win7, it works fine only with the onboard ports. It
will not work with the USB-Serial converter.
I am using a Prolific USB to Serial converter.

One of my colleagues is getting a division by zero error whenever he

Even after setting the Date property to Sys.Now in Indy components, the
email goes out with a strange time. It appears that it is converting it
to GMT.. The end result is that the recipient sees a wierd time.
Has anyone else noticed this. Is there an easy fix for it ?

Also note that the OS has a lot to do with it. Hyperthreading was
making my compiles and run twice as fast on Win2k. But on XP, it is
slower. This is on exactly the same hardware.

wait a few seconds before launching them again.

it is trying to compile it as a C# file?
Suggest you look in the dproj file and check it's contents.

Something has happened. Command line compile works via my usual batch
file. However, IDE compile produces the log further down.
Seeing that its using dotnet for win32 compile, I reinstalled dotnet 2.
I have also reinstalled the Studio in repair mode. But no luck.

What are teh Explicitxxx properties for ? The help seems to ignore
them. worse, on one PC, any form opened gets them added, on another,
they get removed. It makes it very difficult to do any sort of code
compare.
