The Firefox add-on Flash-Aid 2.2.3 seems to handle my Flash/Ubuntu
problems.

Open a terminal. Type thunderbird --safe-mode. When Thunderbird
opens, go into the Add-on Manager and disable the Messaging Menu add-on.

I can bring this up at the GNOME docs hackfest. We may have the ability
to set a distro-specific variable to direct people to ask.ubuntu.com,
ask.fedoraproject.org, something else, or nothing.
Does that sound good? Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

This bug is about parts of the dialog not being accessible _at all_ because
there was no scrollbar. If that isn't satisfactory, please find/open a new
bug about the revamped preferences window as mentioned in comment #4.

This is fixed in version 9.0 but has regressed in verision 10.0
