Started using Cayenne 4.0 Modeler, and let me just give a few thoughts.
Positives:
The UI functionally is an improvement. A number of the things that used to
annoy me are now fixed. Retention of Datasource, for example. The Modeler
feels snappier, more responsive.

Actually I refactored the launchers and the menu inclusion/exclusion logic some
time ago, so now we have a set of platform launchers, and no if/else choices on
startup. I guess we'll need to rewrite the plugin to start the Modeler via
'GenericMain' from 'cayenne

for example: yesterday I need only change DbEntity configuration, but I
accidentally chose tab "graph". It create new graph.xml file,
but I don't need it, it is really distraction and created commit noise.
