CLOUDSTACK-5208: upgrade from 3.0.6 to 4.3 is not throwing any exception if new
System VM template is not registered with proper name
Commit ae231444bc885ee5e9a5d4bb3003bef651c849d6 in branch
I'm having no end of NAT issues with the System VM template I installed
with 4.1 and I noticed there's a newer one available. Is there a
documented upgrade procedure somewhere or is it as simple as install the
new one and update a mysql table to point to the new template?
Thanks,
- Ian

Looked at the scripts found minor differences have fixed those commit

32-bit vms also "generally" perform better on XenServer (depending on the
workload).
The issue with 32-bit Linux is that it has usually only has 800M for so
for available for the kernel [1].
This limits the number of connections that can be tracked by the conntrack
module to around
800/300 =~ 2.5 m
Slightly off topic but I've noticed that the scripts used to create the vm
templates are slightly out of sync between 32bit and 64bit. I just assumed
nobody used 64bit and that's why it got out of sync.

What would be the main reasoning behind this change? Surely the
minimalistic specifications that SystemVMs are assigned suit 32-bit better
in terms of Memory?
"The main disadvantage of 64-bit architectures is that, relative to 32-bit
architectures, the same data occupies more space in memory (due
