Hi,
In the new Installer, I've externalized the strings to .properties files.
I copied what was in RuntimeLocale.as to
flex-utilities/installer/src/properties. Please review for your native
language.
Then in flex-sdk/installer.properties there are other .properties files

Are all the same locales as before still supported? From a glance at the check
in I think (but not checked) that there's a few missing.
Thanks,

It 'resolved itself' apparently, as the mobile run just passed.
Thanks for looking into this!

Hi,
Currently the SDK supports these locales:
da_DK el_GR en_GB fi_FI it_IT nb_NO pt_PT
zh_CN
de_CH en_AU en_US fr_CH ja_JP nl_NL ru_RU zh_TW
de_DE en_CA es_ES fr_FR ko_KR pt_BR sv_SE

I fixed flex-utilities/installer/src/properties for French.
Will do the translation for installer.properties.

I'd guess the latter: ... and/or accessing the playerglobal.swc file. At
least that's how I interpreted it for the nl_NL translation.

I meant I can not use Spark DataGrid, only Flex3 DG or ADG for consistency.
But I use some Flex4 components (DropDownList, etc).
So is it possible to put DDL inside Flex3 DataGrid?
And is it legitimate to expect to see that DDL or ComboBox on the screen

Yes, the same set is supported, but I didn't see any differences in the
strings that needed to be in the .properties files for en_US, en_AU and
en_GB so I didn't create files for en_AU, en_GB.

I'm curious if anyone has any benchmarks for some sample apps or real apps

usage in the mobile arena. I read that it's better to use pure

I think it's pretty well known that Flex is not the fastest system for
Air/Flash. It's just the most feature complete system. Starling/AS3 is much
faster than Flex. But it doesn't have any real components/features. So you
need to code up everything from the ground.

Hi Jun,
Your correct, but at the same time. If you play with Feathers, you will

I'm working on an issue where none of my popups display correctly in

As an experiment, don't use PopUpManager and directly add the popup to

In working on this, I found that it was all around the modal layer. So, I
