Just to add my 50ct.
Wouldn't it be good to use a tool for writing test that you can write tests in
Java? As far as I remember there was only a hand-full of tools supporting this
when I evaluated a lot of these tools:

I would guess that when compiling to JS FlexUnit won't work as FlexUnit
requires the Unit Tests to run in a FlashPlayer instance ... Am I correct? So
without a unit-testing framework to support JS Flex, I guess we couldn't
actually do any Unit Tests with it.
Guess this problem is similar to th
Hi guys.
juts to give you a short update on what I'm currently working on.
A working complete maven-flex-plugin needs code generation in place at several
locations. Besides normal code generation when generating an ActionScript model
from a Java Model, especially the Unit-Test support also need
Just a question ...
how would we actually debug a FlexJS application? I am just asking, cause I
currently have to work with GWT and I am really really anoyed with how you have
to debug these applications (Actually I am anoyed by a lot more ;-) ). Would
this be just as tricky as with GWT? Or is
Just as a suggestion ... why not clone the GIT version as soon as it's finished.
Then delete the ".git" or ".svn" stuff from the copy you are currently working
on.
Then simply copy all the stuff from the SCM-less copy containing your changes
into your clean clone.
Git should detect unchanged, mod
s and pull these changes from your

Who is going to be the Velo for Apache Flex? That person is going to be very
busy!

I once wrote up the workflow of contributing to Flexmojos using Git ... as the
workflow for Flex is now the same, perhaps it explains a little and helps clear
the confusion with git:

I use jersey to query the central maven repo for artifact hashes. I guess any
other JSON rest client would do.

Well I just checked them and closed some of them. But most of the "Maven"
issues simply used the Word "Maven" when discribing an issue. But at least I
could close some of them :-)

Ahem ... Have to say "no" ... I guess the old one was run on Sonatype servers.
As Velo no longer is at Sonatype I guess noone is maintaining that anymore and
I can't see a way how to deploy the maven site there :-(
I would be really glad, if we could switch off the old Sonatype site as this

Hi,
this weekend, while releasing Flexmojos, I took the opportunity to checkout
Microsoft Azure.
Seems to do the job nicely. I allready was able to setup a TeamCity agent on a
Windows VM that is now the Build Agent for Flexmojos CI builds. I documented
the setup on my Wiki:
