Hi,
Is anyone actually maintaining the FindBugs plugin?
I ask because the web pages don't match releases, the FindBugs plugin source
in SourceForge CVS has needed fixes, SourceForge has no FindBugs plugin
downloads available, something called "1.0-SNAPSHOT" from ibiblio

Apologies in advance for such beginner question, but I just can't find what
plugin runs for "".
I am adding some things to the findbugs plugin (upgrade to latest, adding
more params), and learning my way through it.
New findbugs versions have xdoc output. I have changed the plugin to gen
xdoc, a
I as well use Simian and it works well. PMD's CPD report does the same, but
they give different output (which is a different issue! :-)
Not that I have a vote...+1 all too. I hope to see good info like "docbook
- superseded by the SF one" included on the doc pages for the plugins, and
why they

About jira and simian I'm using them to generate reports (although I
don't look them usually) and they are working correctly.

This is a step in the right direction. These plugins can be revived if
someone is willing to maintain them, and presently they drag down the
perceived value of maven plugins as a whole. I know that in times past

I've just started converting a project (xwiki) from Ant to m2. I've added
3-4 deps to my POM and m2 is downloading transitive dependencies like
hell...
I'm wondering if transitive dependencies is ever going to work. Reasons:
1/ I have to fix lots of broken POMs that reference dependencies no
