Hi, my last lime saying something about this I hope.
I solved my fetchmail problem two weeks ago, and it seems to work right now.
The only thing is that I've done it with a 'trick' I think (suggestion from
an other e-smith user).
Normal with the 'default' sorting method using 'multidrop' fetchma
You could modify the /etc/fetchmail template to check the return code of the
fetchmail program, then pass/suppress the output accordingly. Something like
this (untested code, presented for ideas only):

Hello Des Dougan,
You should log as a user on your domain, not as an admin, and from
there you could take control of the e-smith server via web or ssh ...
The admin home directory on the e-smith is in 300 so non readable ...

Hi,
I want to do some filtering on the server. Procmail seems to be the
preferred way of doing it. I understand that I should enter "| preline
/usr/bin/procmail" in the .qmail file in user's home directory to pipe the
user's mail to procmail first. So, I looked at the .qmail file in one of

Dan,
Okay then, I must really be missing something. If you could please tell me
where I've gone wrong, or maybe my whole idea of how this should work is
wrong. I have an e-smith server on a network and another Linux machine
sitting behind it. I have a block of IP addresses the e-smith ip is
