In Winwarbler I have the xcrv mode set to AFSK since my old radio does not do true FSK. I use the default offset which is 2210. I use Multipsk and sometimes Winwarbler for RTTY. Andy K3UK

Usually, LSB is used for RTTY and USB for all other digital modes. Ssince you have your radio set for Data USB , I assume this is why you have to used reverse to receive RTTY. I can't comment about FSK versus AFSK since I am not familar with your radio. For my radio, I have Windwarbler set for A

This is just what package managers do. There are two main package managers: Debainls deb format and Red Hat's RPM. Debian historically did a better job on resolving dependencies at installation time (as opppsed to just reporting them), but part of that ability was due to Debian have a good repo
