Hi, I thought i would burn some midnight oil, what else would one do on
PTO. I have been a very happy slim user, and have had a bunch of friends
move to slim when they see how easy it is to free your music. So i
thought that the Mini mac would make a GREAT media hub. It arrived on
Monday, and
Roy,
I've merged in the commented line at svn change 3290. Hopefully this will have
made it in time for today's build. Give that a try and let us know if this
gives you back the settings tab sso that you can reset the locations.

Are Dave, Jon, Andy and adhir still having problems? If not, what fixed
it? If so, is the problem that Dean mentioned in the 6.1 nightlies
likely to be the cause (I'm running 6.0.2)? Will reverting to 5.4.1 be
likely to help?

since you now have ActivePerl installed, could you try this patch and let me
know if that works. If you have to patch manually, it shouldn't be too bad

Still happening with me - just about to try and track down a network

though, I don't think it's a problem with the unit itself, as the same
thing happened with my first one before it was replaced.

As I said in another thread, mine started doing this suddenly after more
than a year of faultless use. That's why I'm starting to suspect (or
maybe just hoping) it's related to a recent Slimserver or firmware
update.

Ok well we feel that due to the amount of SB2's that we are now selling
each month and the developments coming from Slimdevices that the
product is now filtering down into the general populus. People don't
want their PC's or Mac's on all the time just so they can get access to

Exactly. You will see that you have to remove the - lines as the + lines
