Yeah, that's a bit hard to do, but not impossible. You'd need a new
table in the database to keep track of when a client last played a
track. Sadly, this would get wiped on every complete rescan. I'm
hoping that these will become less and less necessary with the future
releases.

pointing SS at the iTunes xml file you do get dynamic changes - as long

Yes. SB1 supports WEP only, and also 802.11b only for that matter. If
you have the means to run two seperate WLANs I strongly recommend you

Ok, installed that, installed beta slimserver, did the firmware update
on my SB2, set WPA2 when connecting to network. Still won't connect to
Bellkin (Broadcom) wireless access point when configured to AES.

Does anyone know how to build an IR blaster to plug into the SB2? I'm
thinking it can't be anything more complex than a couple of infra-red
LEDs, perhaps a resistor or two, piece of wire and a plug.

A multi disc CD does not play in the correct order. For example,
selecting a two disc album results in playing track 1 CD1, track 1 CD2,
track 2 CD1, track 2 CD2 etc. The ordering should be by disc number
then by track number.

I had a similar arrangement (before i bought a terastation so everything
is on a remote nas drive). Basicaly the itunes xml file should be all

I just revamped my whole musical setup to get into the mid-fi (hi-fi?)
thing, with a new Musical Fidelity amp and Magnepan speakers -- and the
Squeezebox2 at the heart of my setu
We've just reduced pricing by $30 for SB2 wireless, and $20 for SB2
wired.
