My view, FWIW, is that if I have a need for a computer in a particular
spot then I won't be buying an SB.
I received my SB3 a couple of days ago, and apart from an error message
about a missing perl58.dll (which didn't seem to matter?), everything
installed very, very easily. (I use Win XP, with no service packs.)
Anyway, the SB3 is a clean and beautiful design to look at, and the way

believe you'll need to put the perl58.dll file in your Windows/System

Hello,
I have a 1st generation Squeezebox and am running slimserver 6.2.1.
The box plays flawlessly for hours upon hours at a time. However when
it's shut down it won't hold a connection to the server.
Example would be last night listed to the box for 2 hours. Went to bed
and when I woke up t

there's been no word from Richard, maybe he's on an early Xmas break...

Much appreciated! Where did you get them from? I'm finding the MA-15D's

I can attest to that. Before I got the SB2 for my car, I pulled the
audio from the built-in sound chips on my Via M10

The browser refreshes every 30 seconds.
The first refresh after the server crashes, the refresh fails and says
page not found.
If it doesn't say page not found, try hitting refresh. If it works, the
server hasn't crashed.

Figured out the problem. Once I talked it out, it became obvious. Should
have just told my wife or the dog who both view the audio stuff as magic
rather than bothering you guys.
I had an old, no longer used playlist folder from my SB1 days in my
main music directory. When rescan got to that folde
I found this useful when looking for internet radio stations. Thought
others might too.

Well I clearly don't know what I'm doing here. I opened terminal and
entered "ln -s /Volumes/ION/Slim" which is the path to music on my
external drive. Terminal did not complain. Do I need to do anything
else to get my Slim music folder to see the symlink?
