and changed music" after ripping 30 to 50 CDs. When I had 300 to 400
CDs ripped, it seemed to me that a rescan for new and changed music
would take maybe 15-20 minutes. My last two rescans, however, are

That did it, thanks. The part I missed before was the rescanning...I
didn't realize that information was stored at time of library scan as
opposed to "on the fly" sorting.

I don't believe I'm running a firewall. iTunes is running on the same
machine as slimserver. iTunes works fine accessing the internet and
radio, but slimserver cannot access any internet radio.

You don't need a crossover cable when going from a router/switch/hub to
a device. A crossover is for computer-to-computer (or
computer-to-Squeezebox) connections with no router/switch/hub in
between.
Your wireless network will still be available when you wire your SB2.

this to COMMON ALBUM TITLES. I'm not sure, but I believe you may then

Well 6.0.2 has fixed the skipping problem but it returned the problem of
playing songs twice. A couple of albums will play everysong twice which
is almost as annoying as the skipping. If I force a rescan it sometimes
will fix that album (mostly not) but others may then double play. I've
scanned
I have found that the beta 6.5x is much, much faster than 6.2.x and as best I can tell it is pretty close to being bug free and 'ready' for general release. I would give that a try. don't know Linux too well,. but on Windows, I would definately completely remove previous version and reinstall.
I wish I wish I wish - It is Windows only as far as I know.

entry for Radio Station Timeout. It can't harm to increase this, and
might solve your problem.
