Part 1/2 I'm using slimserver 6.3 and have also performance problems. My scan is also very slow. It needs more than an hour to scan nearly 600 Albums (=5700 Songs). An extract of my logfile for 1 Album is shown at the end of this message. You can see there, that it need 10 seconds for 12 somgs.

There is no way that AlienBBC could be ported to SqueezeNetwork. The computing power required to transcode all the streams it would be asked to would be phenomenal. There would also be a question on the legalitis of this. Any stations playing though SqueezeNetwork are still being streamed directl

AlienBBC is included by default with the TS-101. Other plugins need to be included in the SlimServer install that Progressive put together for the Qnap. There is no facility to include you own plugins. I don't know if anything special has to be done to the Perl for SlimServer and it's plugins to
