Hi all,
I have bough a wired SqueezeBox 2 a while ago but need wireless access

Well, I know you've said you have used both a crossed and non-crossed

Anybody know how to ENABLE it again?

Thanks for your response Ceejay. I agree, the symptons are like that.
But I have tried both cables using the switch and they are both ok. And

I've recently started to re-encode some of my CD:s with flac.
The problem is that my Mp3 collection has gone trough mp3gain set to

This makes it impossible to mix FLAC and MP3 for me becuase the volume

Some more info might help:
Collection is Mp3s and FLACS
All FLACS have FLAC tags.
All MP3s have ID3v2.3 (seems to be where the problem lies) or ID3v2.4
tags (seem ok) as well as ApeV2 tags.
It would seem reading of ID3v2.3 is broken...

One possibility - you could disable the Squeezebox's internal
flac handling and adjust the volume downward in your
slimserver-convert.conf file. The
--apply-replaygain-which-is-not-lossless option takes a
dB value for adjustment:
flc wav * *

It shouldn't. If you use up too much bandwidth there's a risk that
you'll get dropouts, but there won't be any subtle degredation. Keep
in mind that wireless is a shared medium, though; even if you get a
separate card for the computer, it'll still chew up the available
bandwidth.
