I have two Devolo (dLAN Highspeed Ethernet) and one Netgear (wall
plugged ethernet switch xe104). Both are homeplug devices and
operate well together.
I do not have a mac (never! ;-) but once the adapters are set up, no

read by SlimServer. Perhaps I'll run this one by support and find out if
that's intended behaviour...

Underrun means that data wasn't sent to Roku in time - with a real
Squeezebox it continues when data is sent, with a Roku it just stops
listening.
PM me - I might be able to provide a patch. Also you could just revert
back to 6.2.2 version there is little in 6.3.x for a Roku user.

Thanks very much! So the fact that the Squeezebox is connected to the
router the router to the internet to the network drive makes
everything flow over the wire wireless not needed.
It will take me a while to schedule an electrician to lay in some Cat5
so it'll be a while before I report

either of the following:
1) for largest font split the display so top line appears on left
screen and bottom line appears on right screen
2) treat both screens as a single screen - not sure how this would look

It looks like you may have reached the conclusion I did. If you prefer
Slimserver to the other server apps, buying an SB3 is the better long
term option.
However, I did a patch for a Roku for AlienBBC which is a similar
problem you have and so it may work for you but it is only for 6.2.1 so

Not taking credit for this but thought people here would like to see
it. Wayne1 posted this over on the audiocircles forums. The Register
(uk it site)has internal shots of the Transporter.

You should bear in mind that 6 seconds is a long time to wait for data.
With your current set up it sounds like you'll wait at least that long
for the requested menu to arrive even if you have a SB3 (which is a far
superior product by the way!).

I usually search by Artist and play a cd. I then after a period of
time want to back up to the artist name to go to a different cd but
SB2 forgets where it it is. Any way to fix this?

for it I am serioulsy considering getting one. (not super cheap)
SUPER CHEAP SOLUTION. Get your self a mirror and modify the slimserver
to send the text in reverse. :)

Here's one idea: instead of going back up, go right... if you have
an album in your playlist, go right to a track, then right to the track
details, down to the artist, right to a list of albums... (its easier
than it sounds)
