I'm a complete newbie totally lost in the fun of my toy. There seems to be great potentials yet to be uncovered. I mostly want it to be a external soundcard, so that I can watch DVD, listen to midi files, or even play games with that great little BOX! Technically it should not be that difficult.

As I have been unable to get 6.5.1 to work, I have moved back to 6.3.1. However, I cannot get the Squeezebox to update to the previous firmware. I have alread re-set the Squeezebox back to Factory defaults but it did not prompt for a firmware update. So, now I am unable to connect to 6.3.1 --
