And yes, it's a duplicate tag problem, but between ID3v2 and APEv2. I
followed the instructions on the wiki so literally that I didn't
discover the issue until I whipped out my hex editor for a look-see :)

It changes when you press Now Playing. If you want to remove some or
all of the options, go to Player Settings - Basic - Now Playing
Information and change each setting you don't want to (blank).
Or just press Now Playing a few times...

I've got this working ... with a lot of caveats. Frankly, I probably

I have set-up a shoutcast server on my computer, installed the plugin
for winamp to stream it to my squeezebox.
I tested the stream with Winamp, WMP and Softsqueeze : it worked
perfectly.
But when I try to stream it to my squeezebox, it won't work. Here is

Ok I haven't rescanned my music library in over a year. I have an SB2
and my OS is Windows XP.
Just installed the slim server 6.5.1. All went ok except my library
would not rescan via browser or plug-in. Music is on an external HD.

The issue isn't resolved for me. I am running SlimServer 6.5.1 on
Windows Media Center 2002, SP2. Machine is a 3.2GHz Pentium 4 with
1.5GB of RAM. After a brief time running SlimServer, CPU pegs at 100%
and renders the machine almost unusable. Quitting SlimServer and
exiting its home page
BTW, this site is quite good if one wants to testdrive different open
source CMS (only PHP/MySQL versions though): www.opensourcecms.com.
