C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Cache
Stop SS, delete the whole folder, and restart SS. It will recreate the

This is work in progress and I think it solves some of the truncated
songs problems on Windows by replacing socketwrapper.
To install download and unzip in a temporary area. Back up exisitn
socketwrapper.exe program and then replace by this version.

6.5.1 does not rescan my library - Win XP, no itunes.
No events, except for information events regarding Mysql.
I tried a rescan with or without clearing the library, the rescan just
does not start.
The d_scan log is below.
Any ideas about how to make rescan work (again)?

then something happened. So I did an uninstalled / reinstall (6.5.1)
I'm getting no audio from my stereo when using slimserver. Everything
seems to be working

of the 4 or 5 songs that I tested. For the record, my music library is
ripped with iTunes to Apple lossless format. Also for the record, SS

Try softsqueeze - if softsqueeze works then you know problem is probably
with SB setup. If same symptoms with softsqueeze then problem is with
Slimserver setup.

There was some changes in directory layout of 6.5.2 recently for Vista
so I think if you are upgrading from one 6.5.2 nightly to another you
could try to uninstall first and then re-install to see if it helps.

I moved my FLACs
It looks like the problem is related to handling of your files. Next
question - Is the problem the same or different with native format
(e.g. flac, wma, mp3) and transcoded formats (e.g. aac,m4a, MWA
lossless).
What format are the files you are trying to play ?
