Did you check all the files? I don't know, but would guess it's possible for one of them to affect other files with the same artist. Are they stored in directories in any kind of unusual way? Slimserver guesses tags sometimes based on the folder name (but that shouldn't make a difference here).

CF lamps are not the great devices the manufacturers claim. They don't put out the amount of light claimed, they don't last as long as claimed, and they cause radio interference and apparently IR remote control interference. They also contain mercury so disposing of them is a problem. TD --

Convert.conf doesn't do anything. I edited a copy of it and saved it and it had no effect. I then saved another copy as custom_convert.conf which also did nothing despite what it says in the file. Conversion choices in the slimserver settings page are saved to the slimserver.pref file. I have
