that pulls album art. When slimserver finds a "cover.jpg" file in the
same directory as the MP3s it all works very well :-)! However, I
though the default behavior of slimserver was to pass along the default
"cover.png"

I can't give a definitive answer, but since the Itunes Plus songs are
256kbps AAC with no DRM then they should play just fine on the SB. The
old 128kbps versions also play after you've stripped the DRM...

I've only got two sets of remote speakers but decided that the impedance
matching controls are better in the long run. You have the easy ability to
add without tearing apart what you have installed, and the difference in
cost is not that much.

With Apples new iT+ service I am wondering if now that the DRM
restrictions have been lifted that the SqueezeBox can now play these
files.
I am guessing not but maybe someone out here can give me a definitive

Try either a factory reset (unplug power, press and hold "ADD",
reconnect power) or reprogramming Xilinx (same as above but press and
hold "1").
If that doesn't help, it sounds like a hardware problem. Contact

Did this issue ever get resolved? I have an absolutely identical
problem whereby initially the setup of Slimserver hung with the service
in 'starting' mode. When I restarted setup (without uninstalling) it
then completed and now appears to be running but I can't get to it with
a web browse
Score another one for Microsoft for making our lives easier by hiding
those those pesky filename extensions from us by default

tracking capabilities rather than its internet radio, although I use it
now and again.
