I just upgraded to the newest version/firmware and now my library will
not rescan files. It only found 9 out of several hundred albums etc.
Any ideas what is wrong?

It happens when i listen to different internet radio streams with
squeezenetwork or to local mp3s with slimserver!
I tested it with wireless and wired, same problem.
Now i downgraded to a previous firmware and i have no problem anymore.
I use the wireless connection again without drop outs.
interesting, sounds like a great idea for a plugin.
i actually am not a good person to answer this, but in another thread i
was trying to find out if setting exclusions for ss exe files in my
avast AV will speed up library scans.
but i have no answers...

I also struggle to connect/disconnect the cables due to the position of
the bar - there's very little finger room needed for leverage when the
RCA interconnect has a tight grip to the SB3. Being able to swing the
bar out of the way would certainly help there too.

The slimserver really is blocked to access the internet.
When i try to go to Internet Radios-Click on Slim Picks - I get this

They didnt help me with my problem though.
I just think its strange - when SB recieves the streamlink from
Squeezenetwork it is able to connect - but when it recieves it from
slimserver it wont. Very odd behaviour in my opinion.

I'm beginning to play around with Softsqueeze in addition to my two
SB3's, it feels like I have three of 'em now :-)
I think it would be very cool to be able to control the Softsqueeze via
some sort of remote control. I know there are assigned shortcuts on the
keyboard and they work well.
Recently I've found the old time radio archive on archive.org. For
those that don't know, that means it has, literally, thousands of
episodes of old time radio shows like The Shadow or old science
fiction shows like X Minus 1. One of the shows I was interested in
was Theater Five. The archive

You obviously never got an answer to this. Can you give us more info?
What's the server running on, i.e. OS, etc.? What kind of processor?
Is the server a standalone or are you trying to use a computer that
