Had the same problem as most of you. scanner.exe crashed after 157 files of ~15,000. Found out that it was a wav file. Both Windows Media Player and Winamp could play the file, but I disabled wav audio file extensions in SqueezeCenter and now scanner works ok. (I'm using Version 7.0a1 beta) --
