The netbook will be the more versatile device, but the SBC will be
better for controlling your SB(s). The purpose-designed SqueezeOS
interface on the Controller is just a lot faster than the web
interface, even on a fairly powerful notebook.

I have a Palm TX that I've used from time to time to control my SBs. The
SBC is at least 100 times better than the Palm. The Palm is just too
slow, even using the Handheld skin. It's a good demonstration of how
much better a purpose-built interface can be than a generic http

I've got a similar problem - one hour it's fine, the next one it's not.
When it stops, sometimes 'prompting' the player with the controller
works, other times 'promting' from the squeezecenter browser does the
trick. Have not tried all possible documented troubleshooting steps so
will hold off on

and network tests change around without any seeming cause (not when I'm
using a phone or the microwave, for example). The wireless strength
rating always seems high (the lowest has been 30), so I don't think

I'm pretty sure you can't edit that level of menu, only the higher menu
levels as shown under Settings > Player > Menus. I would guess that
moving the details to "More Info" was done to unclutter that menu level
for Now Playing, on the assumption that most users aren't interested in

Easiest way to determine if it is a wireless issue is to temporarily
connect via Ethernet cable and then test for the problems.

of the albums where artwork is missing, and then do a clear and rescan,
does that solve the problem? SC can be case sensitive depending on your
precise setup.
