ah if only it were so easy.
sadly gsplayer does't support password protected URLs in any
form...been waiting a few years for them to add that but it hasnt
happened.
in my experience if you want to use gsplayer to stream from
squeezecenter, you must turn off password protection.

more. ButIn my day to day usage it has one small feature that I
have got used to on the duet remote that I do not see in Ipeng. On my
duet controller when I tap on Albums I have the Albums sorted by Artist

So several rooms all streaming from rhapsody in sync very nicely.
One of my SB3s will stop playing every 2-5 songs when it comes time for
the track to change. The other SB3s continue on as normal and if I stop
and restart the stream, the one that dropped off will come back to

pandora in the uk problem. I'm in the uk and it appears (to me at
least) to work fine. I don't have any kind of exotic setup with dubious
ip addresses etc, and when I go to the pandora site I get the 'not in

It probably wouldn't be hard to implement a Now Playing sidebar
gadget. But since SqueezePlay uses lua scripts to control the UI, and
the new versions with audio playback interface with the hardware, I
doubt you could just turn SqueezePlay into a gadget. You'd basically

stations such as the Sky.FM/DI.FM status streamed through SC. However,
I've decided to explore the various music services available to me
through SC/SN.
Yesterday afternoon, I subscribed to Rhapsody to try it out. I had
IMO, if you're on a budget, there's no reason not to love the free
versions of both Pandora and Slacker.

OK - so here's my new theory (I'm going to crack this if it kills me).
Now that I figured out the path in SC has to be the UNC path instead of
the mapped path name (ie. in my case, \\Nas-01-13-59\media\Music\FLAC
Files), I noticed that in MiP the Library path is to the same folder
but designated
under settings player i have:name/model/firmware/ip/port/mac/wireless
signal
The above looks like you are one level too deep in the setting menu.
When the SB is connected to Squeezenetwork the following are the menu
items under Settings.
*Information
*Shuffle
*Repeat
*Alarm clock

menu in your menu setup - if you log into the Squeezenetwork web page
and navigate to the Player menus (Players/[Player Name] Settings/Main

I subscribed to Pandora before it was free, I think it was $3 per month,
I paid $36 for 1 year. Definitely worth it and I understand this will
keep my stream ad-free. Then I tried the 30-day free trial of
Rhapsody. There is no way anyone can use Rhapsody for 30 days and not
end up subscribing,
Both of these builds prevented my original 1st gen SqueezeBox from
seeing my PC. Same for the Duet receiver.
I reverted to 23902 and all is well again.
Just thought someone might like to know...
