I'm happy to announce that Apple have just approved the first update to
Squeemote. The biggest new feature in this release is the improved
support for music services and internet radio and there have been
plenty of bug fixes and performance improvements. Here's a full

IRBlast communication sounds to me a nice feature for some future iPeng

thanks for all the replies. I think that the ipod touch is the way to go
for me. but i won't be rushing to buy one. maybe wait until the next
refresh of them.
i like the idea that you can listen to music on the squeezebox
controller but then i could just use my ipod!

I reset the configuration, and hooked my ethernet line near my SB3 into
it.
I've been adding tracks to my "Favourites" (I've not really got
playlists set up yet) and I wonder if theres a way to get them playing
one after another like a playlist?
If not, can I transfer them INTO a saved playlist?

Clear the player's current playlist, add your favorites one after the
other with the + button or + icon in the web interface.
Then save the playlist.

Update, I found yesterday I was not showing the album art when in
Squeezecenter. I switched to Squeezenetwork and the album art is
showing. I am new to the Duet so I am learning something new everytime
I use it!

You could always use it as a backup flashlight as well. In all honesty,

I'm having similar problems. All my music plays fine on SqueezePlay
but I have some problems with Squeezeslave 0.8-25 running on Windows
Vista. I'm running Squeezecenter 7.3.1 on a NAS.
None of my FLAC files play, it just stutters and skips throughout each
song.
My MP3 files work ok, but wh

doesn't with Squeezecenter - you can sync two Squeezeboxen together but
you can't sync playback to a computer. I don't know that the Apple
solution works well, but they do claim it does.
