I have been playing with Songbird for a few days now. I like where it is
headed, and it is much better (on a windows machine) than sluggish
iTunes.
It would be very good to have a songbird integration like iTunes, as
Songbird recognises more formats in the library (including FLAC).

I'm interested to know how this is a Logitech bug. I unfortunately have

I use the following to turn my iTunes Genius playlists into M3U

It is basically a GUI interface that strips the XML from an iTunes

Here's the currently open bug on this router:

There are apparently issues with its DHCP over wireless support. The
bug lists workarounds that can be employed.
Thank you for your patience while we work on this bug.

Well, I was wrong... is not the SB3 timing out as I mentioned in the
previous post. Before I could not see what was happening because my SC
server was hidden on the top shelf of a closet. I brought it down to
test.

There are a lot of variation in ARM processors. For audio
decoding/encoding the ones with a FPU (floating point unit) are the
best. The core in the Wall Wart doesn't look like it has a FPU so
transcoding may not be realistic.
Without an FPU, if the decoding/encoding apps does not have a fixed

SC obviously works on x86 and on SPARC (I think that's Infrant
ReadyNAS) but note that Infrant/Netgear has SC specially compiled for
SPARC.

On ARM, Slimserver 6.3 was first ported to Linksys NSLU2 with 133Mhz

Most latest generation NAS use a Marvell ARM chipset typically around

Won't SC run on any of the dozen or so platforms that Linux has been
ported to?

indeed it does. Its simple and brilliant. I think the current sbc's way
of doing sync is petty poor imo, but this plugin goes a long way in

The problem is, the plugins are being developed with the IR remote or

You'll need a player like foobar2000 with a plugin for last.fm to
scrobble from your computer.
