You only need one of the files in that link. Which file depends on what
operating system are you using. If it's Windows, you want the one that
says "Windows Exec

Search of the forums appear that ports that are used to access
mysqueezebox.com are 9000 TCP, and 3893 UDP/TCP. I opened these on my
new Sonicwall router but am unable to connect to mysqueezebox.com. This

I suggest Radio for all the reasons listed above. Also, you can upload
family photos to FBook or Flickr and set it as your screensaver. Little
kids love seeing themselves on the device. Also, as they get older,
they can find photos or their favorite bands by using the "on flickr"
option.

Try this. Re-add your FBook app. Then, from mysqueezebox.com, delete
your FB credentials. Then delete the app. That should get you back to
normal. Then reinstall the app. And under the player options set the
players you want to use FB.

I've had a brief play around with this now, first impressions are that

I didn't mean to suggest that your public IP address needed to be
static, but on your private
if it has the battery, then its only $50 difference. and i'd feel sorry
for anyone that had this as their only slim product. if it isn't their
only one however, i doubt money is that big an issue.

I think I got this fixed. I read through some other posts and I changed
my lan_network_address from 0.0.0.0 to 192.168.1.99 as suggested in
another posts and it now works!!!

it's a stream, not a file you're playing, so limited tag-info is to be
expected. You can however adjust the setting 'title format' on the
player settings page for the 'winamp on ' player. This title
gets sent periodically to your player, while streaming. Play around with
it to find the right setti

I have recently updated my NAS software to the Squeezebox Server 7.4.0
but it seems the music library keeps going AWOL.

to get everything set up so I can now connect but I still have to
unplug/replug the SBR e

stuck on blue and won't go to white. I can fix it by unplugging and

I have also used the current playlist for radio stations and observed
the same problems, MSB is my main source until I get around to build a
dedicated media server.
One reason why I tried it was because I wanted to jump back and forth
betweeen stations with rew/fwd buttons, but that (mostly) didn'
I don't own a radio, but I own a duet, boom, and SB3. I concur with the
previous posts that the Boom would work well. I have them in my kids
bedrooms and they enjoy being able to listen to music while playing in
their room or while going to sleep sometimes.

Nevermind, took your advice and got it working just fine with WPA! Now
no more stupid wep keys!! Thank you so much again, you're a life saver!

I would say probably a SB Radio. I think having presets for their
favorites is a big advantage, so that narrows it to the Boom or Radio.
The Boom and Radio also don't require remotes, which is another plus.

Forgot to ask, do I have to do a hard reset (hold down button till fast
red flash) every time I retry a new set of settings or go from wired to
wireless? If I try going from my wireless settings that aren't working
back to wired it doesn't seem to work unless I hard reset it first.

Sorry, forgot about them. Copy them 1:1. Then make sure there are no file paths
in there which point to some old locations.

and disactivate synch groups? Having to go to settings/synch/etc. it's

When you have several SBs in your home, that's a function that you
surely want to activate quickly.

One of the BIG drawbacks of SN/MySB is the lack of customization for
Favorites, like creating Folders and sub-Folders.
This is why Ikabob and others try workarounds like Playlists etc..
For casual MySB listeners it's a minor annoyance. For dedicated MySB
users it's a major PITA.

I was wondering how I get my squeezecenter to start automatically when
I switch on my PC. I used to have this set up then did a system restore
on my PC. Since then the squeeze center doesn't start up automatically.
I have tried the application to select the option for this but it
doesn't work.
