92K's metadata (artist, song) seems messed up. It does not change on MySB Remote Control nor on the player itself. As you say, only displays the first song info. Says it's 48k MP3 so it's a mms problem which can have metadata issues. -- toby10

thanks, I edited the convert.conf file in 7.4. At first it did not work. It turns out I had both lame.exe and lame-enc.dll in the Squeezebox\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\ directory. I removed the dll file and it now works beautifully. The slimp3 lives on. Thanks again -- fluffhead

I am sorry I had to vent. I had to. What I experienced was shockingly frustrating. In many years, and with all the devices I have, I had never ever seen an SB3 claim ti was playing music when in fact the SBS didn't even know it was active. Anyone's troubleshooting activity is going to be around
