I just recently have a need to synchronize but there is are seconds
difference in the two player. I want to sync between a SB3 and a SB
receiver.
The receiver will start several seconds ofter the SB3.
To illustrate how far the sync is off; the delay sliders in the
settings screen for the SB3 do

What are you trying to stream (local music library, internet radio,
music services like Pandora or last.fm)? And is it fair to assume that
you're using your local SBS and not MySB.com? For most things sync
should work just fine, but if you're trying internet radio via MySB.com
then sync is unlikel

I guess I'm stumped. You could try turning up the debugging in the logs
(probably player.sync, maybe something else as well) to get more info,
although I doubt I would be able to translate the output into something
useful to you. Do other combinations, such as your two SB3s, or your SBR
+ the othe
Are your connections wired or wireless? I had sync issues starting with
7.3.3 that I finally fixed once I hard-wired my computer to the router
(previously used powerline adapters).

I've been testing this the last couple days, it looks like the retry
option is being disabled by the suspend/resume cycles in some way.
Looks like it could be a timing issue, race condition in the slimproto
thread.

I've been having an issue with Rhapsody feeds on my Squeezebox boom and
Squeezebox Radio since I got them. Rhapsody feeds seem to continually
need to rebuffer. I changed the Radio Station Buffer Seconds = 15 (per

I had similar symptoms with one of my SB2, but the other SB2 and SB3
were working fine in other rooms. When I swapped the SB2 I found that
it was the location, not the device which caused the constant reboots.
The bad SB2 worked fine in the other room, and the good SB2 started the

Did you check to make sure that the JVC codes are enabled in the server
settings? In the SBS web ui, go to Settings > Player > Remote.

I should have thought of that. Try pointing the remote at the SB3 and
then pressing and holding the left arrow key for about 5 seconds. If
you're lucky that will take you in

Tried it and its a no go. Well it looks like i got a paperweight on my
hand here. I know the transporter has buttons on the front which would
have been great for the SB3 but it's too expensive for me so does anyone

All you need is to borrow a remote from someone. At least until you can
do problem isolation. Tell folks where you are, and there is a good
chance that you can meet in a pub, borrow the remote
The SB3-style remotes, or the backlit versions, may reappear in the
