There is no "right" answer, it's only about options ;-)

Is there any way to have a SB (Boom) automatically switch to MySB if the
computer running SBS is down?
Thanks!

Just picked up a SB Boom, and loving it so far.
When the Squeezebox is connected to mysqueezebox.com I like that I can
easily control it from any computer. But, I don't have access to my
MP3s this way. (correct me if I'm wrong)
When it's connected to Squeezebox Server can I easily control it f
1. All SB players can use both SBS and MySB.com (except the long
discontinued SB1)
2. Pandora is an App not a Plugin and is configured on MySB.com,
Plugins are only on SBS
3. Very little is "synced" between SBS and MySB and is limited to
basic player settings, mostly related to SB3 and Boom
4.
I'm invoking "the kitchen sink" subtitle of this forum to ask a question
about networking that is only tangentially about SBs, because I know a

Squeezebox radios are pretty darn expensive, and I can imagine how nice
they are, but at the expense the burden is on the seller to move them.
With player, I can try it out and imagine how nice it would be to have
the whole thing in a nice encapsulated consumer experience.

I've appended a screen shot of the tagging for the Robert Levin CD that
I showed earlier. It looks correct to me. So I still suspect it is
something in ACC.
When I do a fresh SBS scan of my library, I get an album count of 2553.
When I then run ACC, I get an album count of 2566, with a track c

I just downloaded this app. It's a great replacement for the controller

is the ability to click on the album cover and see all the available

I like iPeng and Squeezepad; I purchased both as the price is very
reasonable.
I will purchase iPeng for iPad when it comes.
Cheers to the developers!

That's clever, didn't know you could do that. I got carried away with
the excitement of the SB experience and rushed into the tagging without
sufficient research. Some of

Yes, in your case it would only show the composer separately, whom you
already have in the album title. Unless you have followed the composer
name by a unique separator character, it will be a lot of work to
re-tag everything.

@Tony - the cancel option is a good idea - I will look at putting that

to disable the network on the ipad - that way you would have been able

I like the idea and congratulate you on it. Only problem is, I don't
think I can stand the idea of re-tagging all my music for the third
time! I currently use the composer tag, artist tag, in which I put
everything (orchestra, conductor, individual artists, choir), album

I finally worked out the difference, and why this happens. When my 7.5

connect to the main mysqueezebox.com.

Could you possibly implement a cancel function for the cache refresh? I

meant that when I next fired up Squeezey it tried to re-add everything
